Ingredients

  • 5 oz butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl beat softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  • Add in egg and beat until homogeneous.
  • Add flour, baking powder and pinch of salt and mix well.
  • Add chocolate chips and stir to combine.
  • Continue to mix cookie dough with your hands. When the dough becomes smooth, form a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 170C/340F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Make 8-10 small balls from the obtained dough.
  • Take one ball, flatten it with your hands and form a cookie. Continue with the remaining dough.
  • Arrange cookies on the baking tray and bake for 13 minutes.
  • After baking, let them sit 2-3 minutes on the baking tray, then transfer to the cooling rack. Enjoy!
