Ingredients

  • 4 oz butter softened
  • cup brown sugar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 overripe bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups self-rising flour sifted
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil for greasing

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl beat softened butter with sugar, brown sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  • Add in eggs and mashed bananas and continue to beat until well combined.
  • To the same bowl add sifted flour and a pinch of salt.
  • Combine the dough using a spatula.
  • Transfer the dough into a loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer it to the wire rack.
  • Slice and enjoy!
