- 4 oz butter softened
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 4 overripe bananas mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups self-rising flour sifted
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vegetable oil for greasing
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl beat softened butter with sugar, brown sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
Add in eggs and mashed bananas and continue to beat until well combined.
To the same bowl add sifted flour and a pinch of salt.
Combine the dough using a spatula.
Transfer the dough into a loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer it to the wire rack.
Slice and enjoy!
