In a bowl beat softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
Add in egg and beat until homogeneous.
Add flour, baking powder and pinch of salt and mix well.
Add chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Continue to mix cookie dough with your hands. When the dough becomes smooth, form a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 170C/340F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Make 8-10 small balls from the obtained dough.
Take one ball, flatten it with your hands and form a cookie. Continue with the remaining dough.
Arrange cookies on the baking tray and bake for 13 minutes.
After baking, let them sit 2-3 minutes on the baking tray, then transfer to the cooling rack. Enjoy!
